The Letter People

Hi Parents!

I wanted to tell you a little bit about a year long project your children will be working on. Each week we will be learning a different letter of the alphabet by using The Letter People.

 

Each week we will "meet" a new letter person and do a number of fun activities. If your children would like to bring in items that begin with the letter we are learning that week that would be great, but it is not a requirement! We will start with A next Monday and I will keep you updated with what we are learning.

Your children will also have spelling words that begin with the letter of the week so make sure they are bringing their words home to practice. We will have spelling quizzes every Friday.

Welcome!

Hello new students and parents. Welcome to Room 303! My name is Ms. Moore and I will be your kindergarten teacher this year. I am so excited to be your teacher and I know it is going to be an amazing year! During the year you are going to have so much fun and learn many new things. Get your thinking caps and pencils ready. I know the school has given out supply lists, but just in case yours somehow got misplaced here is the list.

• # 2 pencils
• Crayons
• Washable markers
• Glue stick
• Supply box to keep everything in

That is all your students will need. I have everything else needed in my classroom.
